- 1997/1998 – Assistant lecturer for “Introduction to English Law” in English at the University of Würzburg
- 2000 – Admission as a German attorney
- 2001 – 2005 – Attorney in the Mannheim office of Shearman & Sterling LLP (today SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz); working on matters in the area of Corporate / M&A, general civil law and litigation
- 2005 – Relocation to Hong Kong and founding of a translation firm in the field of law, business and finance (HK Translation Services Ltd.)
- Since 2007 – Continuation of the company in Germany in Ludwigshafen am Rhein; managing director of HK Translation Services GmbH
